Terms of business

Prices

We quote a fixed price before setting off, including VAT, parts and travel. If the job on site is different from the job described, we stop and agree a new price before doing anything further. You are never charged for work you did not agree to.

Proof of ownership

Before we open a door or a safe we must see reasonable proof that you live at the address or own the safe. If you cannot provide it, we will not do the work, and we charge only the call-out portion of the quote.

Payment

Payment is due when the job is complete, by card, phone or bank transfer. Business accounts are invoiced on 14-day terms.

Guarantee

Locks we supply and fittings we carry out are guaranteed for 12 months. The guarantee does not cover damage from forced entry, misuse, or work by others afterwards. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Cancellations

Cancel an emergency call-out before the engineer arrives at no charge. Booked visits can be moved or cancelled free up to 24 hours before the slot.
