Most safes we open are not locked by a forgotten combination but by a flat battery, a lost override key or a keypad that has died. Those open in minutes without a scratch.

Non-destructive first

For mechanical locks we manipulate the combination; for electronic ones we use the override key or the manufacturer’s reset route. Only when neither works do we drill, and then through a single small hole at a known point, which is repaired with hardened plate so the safe keeps its rating.

Booked, not rushed

Safe opening is booked work, done in daytime slots so there is time to do it properly. Tell us the make and model if you can see it, or send a photo of the door, and we will tell you on the phone which route is likely.

Questions about safe opening

How do I prove the safe is mine?

Proof of address for where the safe is, plus a purchase receipt or, for an inherited safe, the grant of probate or a letter from the solicitor. We will not open a safe without it.

Will opening it damage the safe?

Usually not. Most home safes open by override or manipulation. If drilling is the only way, we quote first and repair the hole with hardened plate so the safe can still be used.

Can you open a safe at night?

Safe opening is booked daytime work, Monday to Saturday. If a safe is holding something you need tonight, ring and we will tell you honestly whether it can wait.
