A locksmith who will not put a number on a website is telling you something. These are the prices we quote on the phone, and they are the prices on the invoice.

£69 first hour, parts at cost

25–50 min on site

Picked or bypassed wherever the lock allows it. A drilled cylinder is a failure, not a method, and it is charged the same either way.
Euro cylinder change

£95 fitted, one cylinder

20 min

Anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-bump, three-star. Keyed alike across your doors at no extra labour if we do them in one visit.
Five-lever mortice to BS 3621

60–90 min

The lock most home insurers name on the policy. We measure the existing mortice first; a wider case means a new door edge and we say so before we start.
Rekey an existing cylinder

15 min at the bench

New pins, same hardware. Cheaper than replacement and the right answer after a lost key or a tenancy change.
Master-key suite

£28 per cylinder, plus design

1–3 weeks

Charted, pinned and cut in the workshop. Design is quoted once against the door schedule; see the suite page for how the chart is built.
Safe opening

1–4 hours

Manipulation or a manufacturer override where one exists. Drilling is quoted separately and always includes the repair.
Emergency boarding

After a break-in, before the glazier. We photograph the damage for your insurer and leave the property secure.
  • Prices are for Greater Manchester, exclude VAT, and hold from 08:00 to 20:00.
  • Outside those hours add £40 to the call-out. There is no separate weekend rate.
  • Parts are charged at trade cost. The invoice lists the part number.

What we will not do

  • Drill first. Drilling a cylinder takes four minutes and costs you a cylinder. We pick, bypass or pull, and we drill only when the lock's own design leaves nothing else.
  • Quote a call-out and add a "labour charge" on arrival. The first hour is in the price above.
  • Fit a lock your insurer will not accept. If your policy names BS 3621 we fit BS 3621 and the invoice says so.
  • Cut a key from a photograph. Not for a door we have no record of, and not without proof you live there.
